The way bind thought and language is a rather huge topic, what I would like to show in this post is the mechanism restraint resulting from improper use and liability of a language.
Take for example the act to give any type of item or service. We can say (the first that come to in mind):
offer to donate
give
pay
serve
Now we assign a random word between them, and try to think how it would be our view of the same concept without it. Take away "offer." "Offer" is not "give", or "pay", or anything. I give you some coffee? No, that seems so who knows what, but it's just a coffee. I give you some coffee? Come on, I'm not denying I mica. If you want the gift, but I wonder if I'll laugh in your face. Well, eventually the coffee do not you offer more, and the act of surrender, etc. etc. is experienced a bit 'less peacefully.
I'm exaggerating (plus o meno!), ma un'idea ve la sarete fatta sull'importanza che si porta dietro ogni parola; tramite le parole organizziamo i concetti, e a seconda dei nostri schemi mentali ci comportiamo in un modo piuttosto che in un altro.Da qui l'innegabile affermazione che lingua e cultura si riflettono vicendevolmente. Un passo verso l'immensificazione umana è proprio l'uso creativo dl linguaggio. Il linguartritamòt risponde ad una necessità del nostro tempo; se è pur vero che il meccanismo di mortificazione del pensiero portato dal rigidizionarismo ha gravato su di noi per millenni, è anche vero che non esiste un momento migliore di questo per finirla definitivamente con questo gioco di crampi alla lingua. Guardatevi intorno! Guardate i volponi dei vecchi media, they know that this mechanism for some time. They have, among us, misconceptions, non-existent or the name totally unfounded. Their dictionary, that of "Finian", "Berlusconi", "anti-politics", "humanitarian" war, "reality shows" and all the other crap brilliant, have great power to determine what to quarrel tomorrow, and what words we use to do so. Invent a white and a black, the first fall for more vegetation, then others will adapt. So do not be alarmed if, strolling on this blog, you'll re-read a sentence two or three times before grasping the naive and joyful meaning, I'm just adapting the language to express what I want.
